Terms for copying, printing and translating Jesus Is Fully Human and Fully God and the papers behind it.

The short version

Copy it. Print it. Give it away. Translate it. You do not need to ask, and you will never be charged. The one thing you may not do is publish a changed version of it under the author's name.

The works covered

These terms apply to all of the above. Not all of them are posted online yet — that is a question of availability, not of permission. For any document not yet published here, write to the address at the foot of this page and it will be sent.

License

These works are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.

You may share them — copy and redistribute in any medium or format, for any purpose, including commercially — provided you give credit and do not distribute modified material. A printer may charge for printing. A ministry may recover its costs. Neither needs permission.

Quotation for teaching, review or scholarship is fine. Redistributing selected panels as a standalone document is not: the argument depends on its order, and cutting parts of it changes what it says.

Standing grant to translate

A translation is legally a derivative work, which the license above would otherwise forbid. This grant sits alongside the license and permits it.

Any person or organization may translate these works, in whole, into any language, on five conditions.

  1. The translation is complete and faithful. No section, panel or step omitted, reordered, or added to in a way that changes the argument. Where a passage cannot be carried directly into the target language and has to be rebuilt, the rebuilding should do the job the original passage did.
  2. The translator is credited, and the author is credited as author of the original.
  3. The translation carries this same license and this same grant, so it stays as freely available as the original.
  4. No portion is presented as endorsing any political position, party, movement, government or campaign. These works make no political claim and must not be published, excerpted or packaged in a form that implies one.
  5. The author is notified and offered the chance to have the translation reviewed. Review is requested, not required, and permission does not depend on its outcome.

Permission for a particular translation may be withdrawn if that translation is found to breach condition 1 or condition 4. Withdrawal applies to that translation alone. It does not affect the license on the original, or any other translation.

What is not covered

Some editions are prepared for restricted distribution and are not published under this license. Where a document carries no notice, it is not licensed here, and nothing on this page grants permission to reproduce or circulate it.

Money

There is none in this, and there never will be. The author receives no income from these works and does not intend to. They were written as an act of love and mercy and are offered freely.
